environmental effects assessment of rural tourism in tang-e-vashi by the using of dpsir model

mountains in warm and dry areas like iran present a great attraction especially when the water resources and mountain natural landscape come together. it creates unique attractions that absorb many people whose are living in great cities such as tehran. this tourist‟s interest is welcomed by tourist agents that have no motivation more than profit. lack of proper management, high volume of tourists and utilization from nature without respect to environment has destructed of ecological ecosystems and valuable nature. tang-e-vashi is a narrow valley in south east tehran is an example of this natural environment and rural tourist attraction that mentioned above. the natural beauty of the area with combination of river, waterfall and historic inscription made a great magnitude that attracts many tourists into this valley and rural landscape. due to the region proximity to tehran and lack of proper management of the nature, this valuable resource is declining. its natural vegetation habitats, agricultural and natural landscape have been destroyed and it is turning to a dumpster. lack of attention to this process will result in complete destruction of this ecosystem. this article tries to explain and expand the finding process of changes and destruction of fragile mountain environment and rural area in tang-e-vashi by the using of dpsir model.
