after ezgeleh-sarpol zahab major earthquake in the kermanshah province, imam khomeini hospital in islamabad gharb city has been damaged seriously. in this thesis, by studying qualitative and quantitative studies based on available information from imam khomeini hospital in islamabad gharb city, the causes of injury and damages are investigated and try to identify and evaluate the damages to the structural members of the imam khomeini hospital building and proposed retrofitting and strengthening solutions to each structural member in accordance regulation.

according to the amount of damage to each member of the structure it has used three new methods of strengthening for damaged members;1.high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composite (hpfrc) sprayed mortar with strengthening bars. 2. a hybrid composite system for strengthening, nsm و wrapping. 3.strengthening using strain hardening cementitious composite (shcc).

at the transverse direction, diagonal bracing and at in the longitudinal direction inverse v- shaped bracing, it is used as auxiliary lateral bearing system. structural modeling was performed by etabs computer software using to evaluating strengthening solutions. the results of the analysis show that the reinforced hospital structure with the proposed design is suitable and responsive to the expected performance level of the structure.
