the role of literature in the process of children's identification

one of the main and major characteristics of today's world is the successive changes that are happening, if we are to move along these developments and in the direction of our interests, we have no choice but to have proper and efficient education system, especially, the education system of children who are the future makers of every society. the education system as the government representative , plays the most important and greatest task in this regard, and it has to plan the preschool period that takes formal education of children, and to use various means to be able to help their proper education and training, and to help children to begin to identify from the very beginning. the identity that deserves the children of the islamic system . in this paper, based on the collection and analysis of resources, we found that one of the tools that can play an effective role in children's identity is literature, including stories, tales and poetry, etc. literature as the food of the human soul, has a great potential that the education system via using that will be able to make children aware of their selves, to create respect for different cultures in them, to strengthen their imagination and creativity, to internalize the sense of loving peace in them and, ultimately, to help them to acquire an identity that is well-liked by the whole world.
