the possibilty of consistency between the history of parsua appearance and the persian kings in pahvali and islamic era texts

following the scrutiny of intermodal inscriptions, this is shalmaneser iii who first mentioned the political presence of the persian people as the " parsua; a league of 27 rulers" in the second half of the ninth century bc. although we have previously encountered a territory about the same geographical name as barhs'um (parh'sum, parahsi, marhas'i, warhas'i) in the akkadian and old babylonian texts, which has been repeated many times in inter-medieval texts from the last quarter of the third millennium to the days of the kassites people in babylon.

however, but considering that from the point of view of cultural approach, the names of the kings of that land are not aryan, no significant connection can be found between barhs'um and parsua except for geographical similarity. regarding parsua, data synchronization can be found between the information of mesopotamian texts and iranian-islamic writings. in general and based on the study method of historical approach, in this paper, it is found that an additional concordance can be established between the two groups of available information and the name of the parsua kings can be traced back to the ninth century bc. it was also observed that there are three groups of citations for this issue that play a complementary role, not in contradiction or adaptation.
