synthesis and characterization of novel templated quantum dots nanocomposite hydrogel

in the present paper, synthesis and structural characterization of a novel hydrogel nanocomposite based on carboxymethyl cellulose (cmc) was prepared using grafting of acrylic acid (aa) and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (amps) onto cmc by using ammonium persulfate (aps) as a free radical initiator and methylene bisacrylamide (mba) as a crosslinker in the presence of cds quantum nanoparticles. the structure of hydrogel nanocomposite was characterized by ftir, sem, eds, and tem techniques. a proposed mechanism for synthesis of hydrogel nanocomposite was also given.
