    one of the challenges of structural engineers in earthquake-prone areas is designing with formability and sufficient strength by the economic advantages. buckling restrained braced frame resistant system components that moment frame system with increasing difficulty improves the structural behavior. the combination of ductility buckling restrained braced frame bending with high hardness, make more economical and improve the performance of the structure against lateral loads. buckling restrained braced frames performance relative lateral displacement class in both standard and plastic waste energy, it is the moment frames. however, to-be permanent lateral displacement class at the moment frames under buckling restrained braced frames is an advantage. to fix this problem can also be easy to replace damaged bracing frames used buckling restrained braced. because the braces in braced frame, unlike the beams in moment frame system not tolerate gravity loads. performance of buckling restrained braced depends on geometric features. one of the main geometric features is the ratio of width to height (rwh) of braces in this paper, modeling different frame and height ratio of buckling restrained braced rwh has been paid to the study of behavior in sap2000 software. with nonlinear static analysis (pushover) studied the behavior of the frame is considered. the results show that the effect of rwh in behavior. as with the increase in this ratio increased structural stiffness. for this reason, displacement caused by increasing the width to height ratio has fallen on structures and cutting base has also increased.
